Install People Work

Most of your People Work will start on your PC, so we'll begin by installing People Work on your computer. Choose which computer you are installing on so we can provide the proper instructions:

1. Download the App
2. Open the Installer
3. Drag People Work into Applications
4. Open People Work

1. Download the App
2. Open PeopleWork.appinstaller.
3. In App Installer, select Install.
4. Open People Work.

Most of your People Work will start on your PC, so we'll begin by installing People Work locally with your package manager:

Arch Linux

People Work is available on the AUR. Install with an AUR helper like yay:

yay -S people-work
people --version

Or build manually:

git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/people-work.git
cd people-work
makepkg -si
people --version

Debian/Ubuntu

Add the People Work APT repository and install:

Add the People Work RPM repository and install:

Direct Archive (Fallback)

The direct archive is the launch fallback for any x86_64 Linux distribution.

Make sure $HOME/.local/bin is on your PATH.

With People Work installed and open, you should see a login screen and will be ready to set up your account.

With the package installed, you now have people on your PATH and can use this command-line interface like any other program. The subsequent sections will walk you through how.
