Journal After a Conversation
Saved in this browser.
After an interaction happens or a commitment comes due, you will journal what happened and what you felt about it.
Remember, People Work doesn't exist to record everything you've ever done. In fact, less is more here! We just want to leave breadcrumbs about the nature of your interactions and how they made you feel, so that during your weekly review and quarterly reflection you'll have a clearer view of how things are going and what to change.
Many of my own interactions are journaled with short entries like:
Observations: talked about their new app that helps people meet others
Sentiment: positive
Comments: feeling good about our interactions
That is a valuable journal entry! If journaling feels like a chore, write a few words and move on instead of avoiding it. Remember, no one is here to grade you. No one else can see this. This is your private space. Write what you feel like writing and get on with your life.
