Our Story & Mission

People Work started with a simple idea: working with people should be about empowerment, not just checking off boxes. Born from our own experiences navigating career transitions and the tech industry, we understand the challenges people face today.

Our journey began in 1997 when we, Annie and Michael, met in college. Our diverse career paths after college—Michael in tech and Annie transitioning from casting to tech after raising our children—gave us unique insights into career management. These experiences formed the foundation of People Work.
