People Work is a desktop app that enables both career management and team management.

We have worked very hard at providing the most value out of the gate with our first offering set. We're going to start with making sure the relationships you have with others in your organization are intentional and clear. So we're going to help you track these relationships over time and help people summarize them during milestones like review time. We're also going to help people get feedback from other people in their organization, in a private and actionable way. We'll do all of this on a platform that starts with speed and privacy with your problems in mind.

We're working on a ton of helpful features for People Work, such as instant reviews, anonymous 360 reviews, calibrations, and much more! We will be releasing them as they are ready, and we plan to deliver as quick as possible.

The thing about People Work is that we're not meant to be a roladex like LinkedIn. That has its place and serves us well as a contact list, but People Work is more for creating a curated network of meaningful relationships. Realistically speaking, you can't do that with everyone, so we want you to choose the folks that you want to track here in People Work very intentaionally. Eventually, we'll allow you to import LinkedIn Contacts one at a time, but right now, we are intentionally requiring that you enter them in the old-fashioned way so that you can create purposeful choices.

Absolutely! People Work will allow you to request feedback from others, but as privacy is our number one concern, it will always be very clear when it emails someone on your behalf so that there is no fear that someone is getting a request from you without you knowing.
